Our History
My name is Maria Inês, and I am the founder of Your Marias.
I was born in Vila Seca, a small village in Vila Real, Portugal, where every woman carries the same first name: Maria. My family, my neighbours — all of them Marias. And so am I.
Because of that, whenever I imagine naming something I love, "Maria" is always the first word that comes to mind. So when the time came to name something truly my own, it couldn't be anything else.
I have always loved fashion. I started by selling t-shirts, shoes and accessories, all handmade by me, at local fairs across Portugal. In 2025, after much effort, that dream became Your Marias.
The story is still being written, and I'm so grateful you are part of it.
